Beet Pickles
Ingredients
- 3 c vinegar
- 6 c sugar
- 1 peck uncooked beets
Directions
- Cut tops off beets cook until tender
- Peel and cut beets in size wanted
- Boil vinegar and sugar together
- Add cooked beets bring to boil
- Pack in hot jars finish filling jar with syrup Seal put jars in a 250 oven for 10 minutes
