Beet Salad

Ingredients

• 1 can beets drained well and liquid reserved
• 1 c sugar
• 1 6 oz pkg raspberry Jell-O
• 1 Tbsp unflavored gelatin
• 12 c wine vinegar
• 1 tsp onion grated
• 1 tsp mustard seed

Directions

1. Mash beets
2. Combine reserved liquid with enough water to make 3 cups
3. Heat and add sugar
4. Add Jell-O and gelatin dissolve
5. Let mixture cool
6. Pour vinegar over beets
7. Fold beets onion and mustard seed into jello mixture
8. Allow to cool and gel
