Beets With Pineapple

Ingredients

• 2 Tbsp brown sugar
• 1 Tbsp cornstarch
• 14 tsp salt
• 1 8 34 oz can pineapple tidbits
• 1 Tbsp butter or margarine
• 1 Tbsp lemon juice
• 1 1 lb can sliced beets drained

Directions

1. Combine sugar cornstarch and salt in saucepan
2. Stir in pineapple and juice
3. Cook stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles
4. Add butter lemon juice and beets
5. Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes
