Best-Ever Muffins

Ingredients

• 1 34 c flour
• 14 c sugar
• 2 12 tsp baking powder
• 34 tsp salt
• 1 well beaten egg
• 34 c milk
• 13 c oil or melted shortening

Directions

1. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl
2. Make well in center Combine egg milk and oil
3. Add all at once to dry ingredients Stir quickly until dry ingredients are just moistened
4. Fill greased muffin pans 23 full
5. Bake in 400 oven for 25 minutes Makes 1 dozen
