BethS Cheese And Bacon Quiche

Ingredients

• 10 slices cooked bacon crumbled
• 1 pastry shell unbaked
• 4 eggs
• 2 c light cream
• 12 t salt
• 18 t nutmeg
• Pinch cayenne pepper
• 1 14 c grated Swiss or Gruyere cheese

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 425 Sprinkle bacon over bottom of pastry shell Combine eggs cream salt nutmeg and cayenne pepper in a bowl and beat until thoroughly mixed Sprinkle cheese over bacon and ladle egg mixture over top Bake 15 minutes at 425 lower the heat to 350 and bake another 30 minutes
