Betty RogerS Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1 pkg Pepperidge Farm stuffing
  • 8 chicken breast halves or 12 thighs boned and skinned
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 lb fresh mushrooms sliced and sauteed
  • 1 c sour cream

Directions

  1. Saute stuffing in butter until golden
  2. Add 34 of buttered stuffing to bottom of greased 3 quart casserole dish
  3. Place chicken in dish
  4. Mix together soup sour cream and mushrooms Pour over chicken
  5. Add remaining crumbs on top
