Bible Cake

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Genesis 18:8 (butter)
- 1 c. Isaiah 7:15 (honey)
- 2 Job 39:14 (eggs)
- 2 c. 1 Samuel 28:24 (flour)
- 2 tsp. 1 Kings 19:6 (baking powder)
- 1 tsp. Exodus 30:23 (cinnamon)
- 1/4 tsp. Luke 14:34 (salt)
- 3/4 c. 2 Samuel 16:1 (raisins)
- 1/2 c. Genesis 43:11 (chopped nuts)
- Judges 5:25 (butter)
Directions
- In a large bowl, soften and cream Genesis 18.
- Slowly beat in Isaiah.
- In small bowl, beat Job well and add to creamed mixture. Sift together 1 Samuel, 1 Kings, Exodus and Luke.
- Add to creamed mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Fold in 2 Samuel and Genesis 43. Grease a 9-inch tube pan with Judges.
- Line with waxed paper; pour in batter.
- Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
- Lower oven temperature to 325° and bake 20 to 25 minutes longer until cake is golden brown and tests done.
- Cool in pan on wire rack 15 minutes.
- Invert onto serving plate, remove waxed paper and cool completely.
