BillS Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 5 lb potatoes
- 1 large onion chopped optional
- 1 stick butter or oleo
- milk for mashing
Directions
- Peel cook and dice potatoes
- Cook chopped onion in milk Do not let boil
- Melt stick of butter in hot onion milk mixture Mash potatoes with the hot onion milk butter mixture
- Beat until creamy
- Put cool potatoes in individual packages and store in freezer
- When ready to use thaw out
- place in Corning Ware dish and reheat in a steamer
- Will taste like fresh mashed potatoes
