Bisquick Strawberry Shortcake
Ingredients
- 2 pt strawberries sliced
- 23 c sugar
- 2 13 c Bisquick original baking mix
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 3 Tbsp margarine or butter melted
- 12 c milk
- 34 c whipping cream heavy
Directions
- Sprinkle strawberries with 23 cup sugar let stand 1 hour Heat oven to 425
- Mix baking mix 3 tablespoons sugar margarine and milk until soft dough forms
- Drop dough into 6 mounds onto ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake 11 to 12 minutes or until golden brown
- Beat whipping cream in chilled bowl until stiff
- Split shortcakes fill and top with strawberries
- Top with whipped cream
- Makes 6 servings
