Black-Tie Red Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 15 oz each cans dark red kidney beans undrained
  • 12 c red wine
  • 14 c soy sauce
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 clove garlic chopped
  • 1 tsp prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp prepared sour cream
  • 1 tsp chopped chives

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients except sour cream and chives and place in 1-quart crock or casserole
  2. Bake covered at 325 for 1 hour if too juicy uncover and cook 12 hour longer
  3. Serve with side dishes of sour cream and chives for topping
