Ingredients

  • 2 14 c all-purpose flour
  • 12 c unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 1 c dark brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1 c 5 14 oz white chocolate bar coarsely chopped
  • 34 c white sugar
  • 1 c salted butter softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 c coarsely chopped semi-sweet chocolate

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300
  2. In medium bowl combine flour cocoa soda and salt
  3. Mix well with a wire whisk
  4. Set aside
  5. Blend sugars in a large bowl using an electric mixer set at medium speed Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste scraping down the sides of the bowl
  6. Add eggs and vanilla and beat at medium speed until smooth
  7. Add the flour mixture and chocolates and blend at low speed until just combined
  8. Do not overmix
  9. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets 2 inches apart
  10. Bake 18 to 22 minutes
  11. Transfer cookies immediately to a cool flat surface
  12. Yield
