Black Bean And Rice Soup

Ingredients
- 2 16 oz cans black beans
- 3 c water
- 12 tsp dried oregano leaves
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 12 c instant Minute rice
Directions
- Place beans with liquid in blender blend until smooth
- Pour into large saucepan
- Stir in water oregano and garlic powder and bring to boil
- Stir in rice
- Reduce heat cover and simmer 5 minutes
- Remove from heat
- Let stand 5 minutes
- Serve with chopped onions if desired
