Black Walnut Icebox Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 c dark brown sugar
- 1 c shortening
- 2 eggs
- 34 c finely chopped walnuts
- 3 12 c cake flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- pinch of salt
Directions
- Cream shortening brown sugar and eggs add cake flour and blend smoothly
- Roll in waxed paper in desired size
- Place in icebox overnight
- Slice as required
- Bake 15 minutes at 350
