Blackberry Cake

Ingredients

• 1 c shortening
• 2 c sugar
• 3 eggs
• 4 c all-purpose flour
• 2 tsp soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp allspice
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tsp cloves
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 34 c blackberries
• 12 Tbsp berry juice

Directions

1. Using a box cake mix of whatever kind you wish to make bake according to box directions make 2 layers
2. Cool completely
3. Cut the 2 layers of cake into 4 layers and frost with the following frosting
