BlancheS Pickle Ginny

Ingredients

  • 4 qt green tomatoes ground
  • 4 qt ripe tomatoes
  • 2 large heads cabbage
  • 3 large green peppers
  • 4 large red peppers
  • 2 bunches celery
  • 6 large onions
  • 12 c salt
  • 4 lb brown sugar
  • 1 c horseradish
  • 1 Tbsp pepper
  • 1 Tbsp mustard seed
  • 1 qt vinegar

Directions

  1. Let green tomatoes stand overnight drain then peel tomatoes grind peppers celery cabbage and onions
  2. Add brown sugar horseradish pepper mustard seed and vinegar
  3. Boil 15 minutes and seal in hot jars
