Blend Of The Bayou
Ingredients
- 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 lb peeled raw shrimp
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 large bell pepper chopped
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 c grated cheese
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can sliced mushrooms drained
- 1 Tbsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp Tabasco
- 12 tsp red pepper
- 1 pt crab meat
- 2 c cooked rice
- 2 c cracker crumbs
Directions
- Melt cream cheese and butter
- Saute shrimp onion pepper and celery in 2 tablespoons butter and add to first mixture
- Add soup mushrooms seasonings crab meat and rice
- Mix well
- Place in a 2-quart casserole dish and top with grated cheese and cracker crumbs
- Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 350 or until bubbly Serves 8 and leftovers freeze well
