Blond Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 c butter 2 sticks
- 1 lb light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 c sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c broken pecan pieces big pieces not chopped
- 1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Heat oven to 375
- Place butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan and melt in oven
- Put brown sugar in large mixing bowl and pour the melted butter over it
- Cream butter and sugar beat in eggs
- Mix in flour baking powder vanilla pecans and chocolate chips
- Pour batter into already buttered pan
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan
- When cool cut in squares
