Blue-Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 (11 oz.) box pie crust mix
  • 1 (21 oz.) can blueberry pie filling
  • 2 c. sliced thin apples (Golden Delicious)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour

Directions

  1. Prepare pie crust as directed on box for 9-inch pie.
  2. Line plate bottom with crust.
  3. Mix sugar and flour.
  4. Mix with apples. Fill apples in bottom of crust; add the blueberry filling on top of apples.
  5. Cover with top crust.
  6. Slit vent in top; flute edges high to prevent spill-over in oven.
  7. Heat oven to 400°.
  8. Bake 10 minutes.
  9. Reduce to 350° and bake 25 minutes longer.
  10. Makes one 9-inch pie.
  11. Serves 8.
