Blueberry Cake
Ingredients
- 2 eggs separated
- 12 c Crisco
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 12 c sifted flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 c sugar
- 14 tsp salt
- 13 c milk
- 1 12 c blueberries
Directions
- Beat egg whites
- Add 14 cup sugar
- Cream shortening and add salt and vanilla
- Add rest of sugar then egg yolks
- Beat
- Sift flour and baking powder
- Add to creamed mixture and 13 cup milk Fold in egg whites and blueberries dusted with flour
- Sprinkle sugar over batter in 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan
- Bake at 350 for 50 minutes
