Bohemian Peach Slices
Ingredients
- 2 c sifted flour
- 1 12 c sugar
- 4 eggs separated
- 1 large can sliced peaches
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 14 sticks margarine
Directions
- Drain peaches well
- Beat egg whites set aside
- Cream margarine and sugar beat well
- Add egg yolks beat add flour and vanilla
- Fold in egg whites
- Pour batter in 9 x 13-inch pan lightly greased and spread evenly
- Lay sliced peaches on batter putting them close together
- Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until nicely browned
- Let stand 5 minutes then sprinkle with powdered sugar
- Never cover as it will get soggy
- You may use any canned fruit
