Boozy Bourbon Balls

Ingredients

• 1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 12 c sugar
• 3 Tbsp light corn syrup
• 12 c bourbon
• 2 12 c vanilla wafers finely crushed about 5 doz
• 1 c finely chopped nuts

Directions

1. Melt chocolate in double boiler over hot not boiling water Remove pan from fire and stir in sugar and corn syrup
2. Blend in bourbon
3. Combine crushed vanilla wafers and walnuts in bowl
4. Add chocolate mixture to it
5. Form into one-inch balls and roll in sugar
6. Let ripen in covered container for few days or longer Then wrap and present to your friends
7. Makes about 4 12 dozen
