BorschtBeet Soup

Ingredients
- 12 c chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 10 12 oz can beef broth
- 1 c water
- 1 c beet juice
- 1 Tbsp vinegar
- 14 c ketchup
- 1 c shredded cabbage
- 1 can sliced beets
- 1 tsp salt
- 13 tsp pepper
Directions
- In a pan saute onions in butter
- Add to pan with all the other ingredients
- Cover and cook about 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender
- Serve with sour cream saltines
- Can be eaten without cream
- You can add more cabbage and beets to recipe
