Boston Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb 2 c dried marrow Great Northern or navy beans
  • 2 qt water
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 14 lb salt pork
  • 34 c Grandmas unsulphured molasses
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard

Directions

  1. Rinse beans in cold water and drain
  2. Bring to a boil and boil for two minutes
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Cover loosely and let stand for 1 hour
  5. Return to heat and bring to a boil
