Bourbon Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda dissolved in 14 c boiling water
- 34 c shortening
- 2 12 c flour
- 12 c bourbon
- 4 c pecan pieces
- 12 lb candied cherries chopped
- 1 lb dates cut up
- 1 c golden raisins
Directions
- Mix together first 4 ingredients Add rest of ingredients stirring after each one is added Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet Bake about 15 minutes at 350
