Bourbon Franks

Ingredients

  • 1 14 oz bottle catsup
  • 1 c bourbon
  • 1 c dark brown sugar
  • 4 8 oz each pkg mini cocktail franks or 2 16 oz each pkg franks cut into 1-inch cubes

Directions

  1. In large saucepan mix all ingredients except franks
  2. Cover and simmer at least 2 hours stirring occasionally
  3. Can be made ahead to this point
  4. Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours Reheat sauce until hot
  5. Add franks and simmer until heated through about 5 to 10 minutes
