Bow Ties

Ingredients

  • 2 whole eggs
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 jigger 3 Tbsp rum

Directions

  1. Beat the eggs until well mixed
  2. Add butter salt sugar and vanilla
  3. Mix in flour starting with 1 cup until you form a soft dough
  4. Roll dough out real thin
  5. Cut in strips of 1 x 4-inches Make a slit in center
  6. Pull one end through slit
  7. Fry in hot fat in frying pan until slightly tan in color
  8. Drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle with confectioners sugar
