Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp rich cream
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp rum or brandy
- 1 c plus 2 Tbsp sifted flour
- oil or vegetable shortening for frying
- confectioners sugar
Directions
- Beat eggs and egg yolks together until very light
- Beat in sugar cream salt and liquor
- Stir in flour
- This dough should be soft
- Knead dough on a floured board until smooth
- Cover dough and let it stand for 10 minutes
- Roll the dough out until it is very thin about 18 inch
