Braised Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage cut in wedges
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • 6 slices bacon chopped
  • 3 chicken bouillon cubs
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 14 cup water

Directions

  1. In a large pot saut onions and bacon until tender
  2. Add cabbage water salt and pepper
  3. Cover and simmer until done
  4. Mix cornstarch with water and add to cabbage
  5. Cook until liquid is slightly thick
