Bran-Flake Chicken

Ingredients

  • 12 c bran flakes crushed
  • 14 c sunflower seeds use shelled chopped
  • 12 tsp seasoned salt
  • 14 c butter or oleo melted
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 3 chicken breasts or 6 small breasts
  • 1 16 oz can peach halves

Directions

  1. In paper or plastic bag combine bran flakes sunflower seeds and seasoned salt
  2. Blend melted butter lemon juice and salt Brush chicken breasts with mixture then shake one at a time coat lightly
  3. Reserve remaining lemon-butter
  4. Place chicken skin side up in ungreased large shallow baking pan
  5. Bake in 375 oven for 40 minutes
