Bran Muffins

Ingredients
- 1 15 oz box Bran Flakes save 1 c
- 1 c melted canola shortening
- 3 c sugar
- 4 eggs beaten
- 1 qt buttermilk
- 5 c flour
- 5 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 c raisins
Directions
- Mix Bran Flakes sugar soda salt and flour in large bowl Add beaten eggs shortening and buttermilk
- Mix well
- Fold in raisins
- Bake at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes
- Mix will keep in refrigerator in a covered bowl for up to 6 weeks before baking
