Brazilian Bananas

Ingredients
- 6 bananas
- 2 Tbsp rum
- 2 dessert spoons instant coffee
- 2 dessert spoons fine sugar
- 8 fl oz heavy cream
- toasted slivered almonds
Directions
- Slice bananas thickly into individual dishes and sprinkle with rum
- Dissolve coffee in 3 to 4 tablespoons hot water
- Add sugar stir well and leave until cold
- Whip cream and gradually stir into coffee mixture
- Spoon over bananas
- Sprinkle with slivered almonds and serve chilled
