Bread Pudding With Apples And Raisins
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 3 c milk
- 12 c sugar
- 12 tsp ground cinnamon
- 12 tsp vanilla
- 12 tsp salt
- 4 to 8 slices dry bread cubed
- 12 c chopped apple
- 13 c raisins
- 14 c melted butter and 1 c brown sugar optional
Directions
- Beat together eggs milk sugar cinnamon vanilla and salt In a round baking dish add bread apples and raisins
- Pour egg mixture over all
- Bake in 325 oven for 40 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean
- For a change add the melted butter and sugar on bottom of dish
- Make bread pudding with apples and raisins as directed
- Cool
- Turn dish upside down over another dish
- The pudding will have a caramel type topping Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip
