Bread Pudding With Apples And Raisins

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c milk
  • 12 c sugar
  • 12 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 12 tsp vanilla
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 4 to 8 slices dry bread cubed
  • 12 c chopped apple
  • 13 c raisins
  • 14 c melted butter and 1 c brown sugar optional

Directions

  1. Beat together eggs milk sugar cinnamon vanilla and salt In a round baking dish add bread apples and raisins
  2. Pour egg mixture over all
  3. Bake in 325 oven for 40 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean
  4. For a change add the melted butter and sugar on bottom of dish
  5. Make bread pudding with apples and raisins as directed
  6. Cool
  7. Turn dish upside down over another dish
  8. The pudding will have a caramel type topping Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip
  9. Enjoy
