Break Away Bread
Ingredients
- 2 pkg dry yeast
- 1 c lukewarm water
- 1 c boiling water
- 1 c Crisco
- 34 c sugar
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 2 eggs beaten
- 6 c plain flour
Directions
- Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water
- In large bowl pour boiling warm water over Crisco and dissolve
- Add sugar salt eggs yeast and flour mix well and let double in size
- Knead Divide dough into 2 parts
- Roll out 14-inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter
- Dip each biscuit in melted butter
- Stick on end in Bundt pan
- Let rise 2 to 3 hours
- Bake at 350 until golden brown about 30 minutes
- This makes 2 pans
- Do not cut just pull apart
