Breakfast Egg Casserole
Ingredients
- 6 slices bread trimmed to fit 13 x 9-inch pan
- 1 c grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 lb Velveeta cheese
- 1 lb or more either ham sausage or bacon
- 6 eggs
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 c milk
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 large can mushrooms drained
Directions
- Butter bread placing buttered side on bottom of pan
- Layer the Cheddar cheese Velveeta cheese and ham sausage or bacon on top of bread
- If bacon or sausage is used brown and fry
- Mix the rest of ingredients together and pour on top
- Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight
- Bake 12 hour covered then 1 hour uncovered in a 350 oven
- Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving
