BrennanS Buffalo Wings

Ingredients

  • 3 lb chicken wings
  • 1 bottle light soy sauce or teriyaki sauce
  • 12 c cooking sherry
  • 14 c vegetable oil
  • 12 c mild salsa
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Louisiana hot sauce
  • 14 tsp celery salt
  • 14 tsp fresh ground pepper
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 or 4 fresh slices ginger

Directions

  1. Trim tips and extra flap of fat on wings
  2. Mix ingredients in stainless plastic or glass bowl
  3. Marinate wings 3 or 4 hours Overnight is better
  4. Pat dry on paper towels both sides
  5. In a single layer saute in butter to brown both sides
  6. Brush with more hot sauce
  7. Preheat oven to 350
  8. Bake on a cookie sheet lined with foil it gets messy for 45 to 55 minutes
  9. Dont overcook
  10. Wings can be turned over but its not necessary Serve with a Blue cheese dressing or dip
