Broccoli Cheese Soup With Noodles
Ingredients
- 2 to 3 Tbsp oil or melted margarine
- 34 c chopped onion
- 6 c water
- 6 chicken bouillon cubes or 6 c canned chicken broth
- 1 tsp salt optional
- 1 8 oz pkg fine noodles
- 2 10 oz pkg frozen chopped broccoli or 1 12 lb fresh broccoli chopped
- 14 tsp garlic powder optional
- dash of pepper optional
- 6 c milk
- 12 to 1 lb Velveeta cheese cubed
Directions
- Saute in oil or melted margarine the chopped onion
- Add then bring to a boil the broth water and noodles to a boil
- Cook 3 minutes
- Add broccoli garlic powder and pepper
- Cook 4 to 5 minutes
- Then add stirring until cheese melts the milk and cheese
- Serve at once
- Yield 16 cups 150 calories per cup
