Broccoli Cheese Soup With Noodles

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 Tbsp oil or melted margarine
  • 34 c chopped onion
  • 6 c water
  • 6 chicken bouillon cubes or 6 c canned chicken broth
  • 1 tsp salt optional
  • 1 8 oz pkg fine noodles
  • 2 10 oz pkg frozen chopped broccoli or 1 12 lb fresh broccoli chopped
  • 14 tsp garlic powder optional
  • dash of pepper optional
  • 6 c milk
  • 12 to 1 lb Velveeta cheese cubed

Directions

  1. Saute in oil or melted margarine the chopped onion
  2. Add then bring to a boil the broth water and noodles to a boil
  3. Cook 3 minutes
  4. Add broccoli garlic powder and pepper
  5. Cook 4 to 5 minutes
  6. Then add stirring until cheese melts the milk and cheese
  7. Serve at once
  8. Yield 16 cups 150 calories per cup
