Broccoli Continental
Ingredients
- 34 c skim milk
- 12 c shredded Cheddar cheese low-fat
- 1 egg
- 10 oz broccoli spears thawed and chopped
- 18 tsp salt
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 Tbsp margarine
- 2 slices dry whole wheat toast
- 1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Combine milk margarine and cheese in saucepan over low heat until cheese melts
- Cool and stir in egg
- Place broccoli in greased 1-quart baking dish sprinkle with salt
- Pour cheese mixture over broccoli
- Cook and stir garlic in margarine for 2 minutes
- Add toast cubes and stir until butter is absorbed Sprinkle over broccoli top with Parmesan cheese
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
