Broccoli With Rigatoni Pasta
Ingredients
- 8 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 large bunch fresh broccoli cut into florets
- 1 c chicken broth
- 1 c fresh basil coarsely chopped
- pepper
- grated cheese Romano and Loccatelli
Directions
- Gently brown garlic in oil and butter
- Be careful not to burn garlic or it will taste bitter
- Add broccoli and stir as you heat pan
- Add chicken broth cover and simmer until broccoli is just al dente still a little firm
- Cook rigatoni pasta until al dente drain
- Add half the fresh basil and mix together with the broccoli
- Top with parsley pepper cheese and basil
