Broccoli With Rigatoni Pasta

Ingredients

  • 8 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large bunch fresh broccoli cut into florets
  • 1 c chicken broth
  • 1 c fresh basil coarsely chopped
  • pepper
  • grated cheese Romano and Loccatelli

Directions

  1. Gently brown garlic in oil and butter
  2. Be careful not to burn garlic or it will taste bitter
  3. Add broccoli and stir as you heat pan
  4. Add chicken broth cover and simmer until broccoli is just al dente still a little firm
  5. Cook rigatoni pasta until al dente drain
  6. Add half the fresh basil and mix together with the broccoli
  7. Top with parsley pepper cheese and basil
