Broiled Icing
Ingredients
- 12 c plus 1 Tbsp melted butter
- 1 c brown sugar
- 13 c milk
- 34 to 1 c shredded coconut
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together and spread on top of 9 x 13-inch white or yellow cake while it is still warm
- Place very low under broiler broil until icing bubbles all over surface and becomes brown
- Take care that it does not burn
