Brown Flour Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 cups potatoes cubed
  • 14 cup onion chopped
  • 12 cup celery chopped
  • 12 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 18 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 12 cup butter or margarine
  • 12 cup flour

Directions

  1. Cook first 7 ingredients in 2 cups of water until soft
  2. DO NOT DRAIN
  3. In separate frying pan melt butter or margarine
  4. Stir in the flour using a wire whisk if possible
  5. Stir in about one half to 1 cup of the water from the potatoes
  6. Add milk and stir until bubbly
  7. Add to the potatoes
  8. If soup seems to thick add a little more milk or tap water
