Brown Sugar Buttermilk Cake

Ingredients
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 c buttermilk
- 3 c brown sugar
- 12 lb butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 12 tsp maple flavoring
- 3 c all-purpose flour sifted
Directions
- Put soda into buttermilk
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Add eggs one at a time beat well after each
- Add flavoring
- Blend in flour alternating with milk
- Turn into large greased and floured tube pan
- Bake at 325 for 1 hour
- Let cake cool in pan for a few minutes but turn out on serving plate while still hot
