Ingredients

• 6 medium potatoes peeled and cubed
• 14 c water
• 14 c milk
• 6 Tbsp butter
• 1 onion chopped
• 4 c shredded cabbage
• 12 tsp salt
• 14 tsp pepper
• 12 c grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions

1. In a 2-quart casserole combine the potatoes and water
2. Cover tightly and cook on High 100 for 7 to 13 minutes or until fork-tender stirring once halfway through cooking
3. Let stand covered 3 minutes
4. Meanwhile in a 1-quart glass measure combine milk and 4 tablespoons butter
5. Cook on High for 1 minute
6. Set aside
