Burger Florentine

Ingredients

• 10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach
• 4 English muffins split
• 1 slice white bread
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp grated onion
• 4 oz pkg Mozzarella cheese

Directions

1. About 40 minutes before serving prepare spinach as label directs drain well
2. Toast English muffins keep warm
3. Preheat broiler if manufacturer directs
4. Into bowl tear bread into small pieces add spinach ground beef egg salt and onion
5. Mix well Shape mixture into four 1-inch thick round patties
6. Place patties on rack in broiling pan
7. Broil patties about 5 minutes on each side for medium or until of desired doneness
8. Just before patties are done cut Mozzarella cheese into 4 slices
9. Top each meat patty with a cheese slice broil 1 minute longer or until cheese melts
10. Serves 4
