Butter Baked Chicken And Gravy

Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 pieces chicken
  • 1 14 c Pet milk
  • 1 c flour
  • 1 12 tsp salt
  • 18 tsp pepper
  • 14 c butter
  • 14 c water
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Directions

  1. Dip chicken pieces into 12 cup Pet milk
  2. Roll pieces in flour salt and pepper
  3. Melt 14 cup butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan
  4. Put chicken skin side down
  5. Bake uncovered near center of 425 oven for 30 minutes
  6. Turn chicken over
  7. Pour mixture of 1 can cream of chicken soup 34 cup Pet milk and 14 cup water over chicken
  8. Bake 30 minutes longer or until drumstick is tender when pierced
  9. Place chicken on serving dish
  10. Stir gravy well and serve with chicken over mashed potatoes
  11. Serves 6
