Butter Baked Chicken And Gravy
Ingredients
- 8 to 10 pieces chicken
- 1 14 c Pet milk
- 1 c flour
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 18 tsp pepper
- 14 c butter
- 14 c water
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
Directions
- Dip chicken pieces into 12 cup Pet milk
- Roll pieces in flour salt and pepper
- Melt 14 cup butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan
- Put chicken skin side down
- Bake uncovered near center of 425 oven for 30 minutes
- Turn chicken over
- Pour mixture of 1 can cream of chicken soup 34 cup Pet milk and 14 cup water over chicken
- Bake 30 minutes longer or until drumstick is tender when pierced
- Place chicken on serving dish
- Stir gravy well and serve with chicken over mashed potatoes
- Serves 6
