Butter Bars
Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 12 lb butter or 14 butter and 14 margarine
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 c flour
- nuts
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar add egg yolk vanilla and flour Spread evenly on cookie sheet
- Beat egg white slightly until foamy
- Spread and sprinkle nuts on top and bake in slow oven 300 for 40 minutes
