Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 sticks butter
• 1 12 c confectioners sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 12 c flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp cream of tartar
• 14 tsp salt

Directions

1. Cream butter
2. Add sugar gradually until fluffy
3. Add unbeaten egg and vanilla
4. Beat well
