Ingredients

  • 2 pkg dry yeast
  • 2 c warm water 105 to 115
  • 2 c melted butter or margarine divided
  • 1 c sugar
  • 6 eggs beaten
  • 1 12 tsp salt
  • about 9 c all-purpose flour

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large mixing bowl Add 1 cup melted butter sugar eggs and salt stir well
  2. Gradually add flour mixing well Cover and let rise in a warm place 85 free from drafts 4 hours
