Butter Riches
Ingredients
- 34 c butter
- 12 c firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp white sugar
- 1 unbeaten egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 34 to 2 c flour
Directions
- Cream the butter
- Gradually add brown sugar and white sugar Cream well
- Add egg yolk and vanilla
- Beat well
- Blend in flour to form a stiff dough
- Shape into small balls
- Put on greased cookie sheets
- Flatten to size of a 50 cent piece with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar
- Bake at 350 for 7 to 9 minutes until golden brown
- Cool and frost with Browned Butter Frosting
