Buttermilk Chicken
Ingredients
- 6 chicken breasts halved and skinned
- 1 qt buttermilk
- 34 c flour
- 12 tsp salt
- 14 tsp margarine
- 1 10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 14 tsp pepper
- use Tonys garlic powder too to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425
- Soak chicken in buttermilk then roll chicken in mixture of flour and seasonings
- Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch dish
- Place chicken in dish breast side down and bake for 30 minutes uncovered
- Turn chicken again and pour mixture of buttermilk and mushroom soup over it
- Bake 15 minutes more
- Serve over rice
- Serves 6 to 8
