Buttermilk Coconut Custard Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 2 c sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 34 c buttermilk
  • 3 12 oz flaked coconut
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Melt margarine or butter
  2. While butter is melting hand beat 6 eggs
  3. Add the eggs to sugar then margarine
  4. Mix buttermilk well then coconut and vanilla flavoring
  5. Makes 2 pies
  6. Put in unbaked pie crusts and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden brown
